Day 1 of Workshop on the Inventory and Safeguarding Plan for Intangible Cultural Heritage of Abaca Fiber Crafts held

The workshop on the Inventory and Safeguarding Plan for Intangible Cultural Heritage of Abaca Fiber Crafts was held at Catanduanes State University Accreditation room on Nov 6-7, 2025.

Day 1 was a very successful event, all speakers gave very good talks and sharing of experiences by Abaca crafts makers provided good insights. There was the final synthesis for the day’s event and the questionnaires needed for safeguarding and action plan policies were administered.

Day 2 was postponed as activities within the Catanduanes State University were advised for postponement and participation of certain LGUs to the workshop for the safeguarding plan were cancelled because they have to go back to their municipality for an MDRRM meeting regarding Typhoon Uwan.
